The Impact Vest is a winter snow sport vest with built-in airbag technology that is designed to float an individual above the snow in the event of being caught in an avalanche. The vest is designed to increase the chances of survival by providing the following features:
- Simple release system floats individuals to the surface of an avalanche and prevents burial
- High visibility and time saving for rescue from the bright color of the air bag
- Creates an air pocket for breathability after the bag deflates
The Impact Vest is intended for winter sport enthusiasts and comfortably holds the standard backcountry safety essentials (probe, shovel and beacon) as well as pockets for water, snacks and an additional layer of clothing.
NOTE: The Avi Vest Contains a pressurized cylinder classifying it as a Dangerous Goods for shipping.
